After a battle over a proposed transfer station in north Peoria that was withdrawn by Republic Services last year due to opposition from residents, another location has been proposed by the waste management company. But some residents are not happy with the new location, dubbed the WestWing Recycling & Transfer Facility, and planned to serve the far northwest Valley.
